ORD INANCE NO .-32
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING .AND RECEIVING AS A PART OF THE
TOWN OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS. TEXAS. CERTAIN TERRITORY. AS DESCRIB-
ED BY METES AND BOUNDS. ADJOIlHNG THE PRESENT CITY LIMITS OF NORTH
RICHLAND HILLS ¡ PROVID ING THAT UPON ADOPT ION HEREOF SAID TERRITORY
SIW.L BECOME A PART OF SAID TOWN; PROVIDING FOR RIGHT AND PRIVI-
LEGES OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE DESCRIBED TERRITORY; PROVIDING AN
EFFECT IVE DATE.
WHEREAS. there waS filed with the ~or and Council of
North Richland Hills, Texas the affidavit of three inhabitants to-
wit: C. R. Barnett, Edmonia L. Barnett and Mr. Fred J. Ross of the
hereinafter described territory adjoining the city limits of North
Richland Hills wherein affiants set forth that said territory is not
more than one-half (1/2) mile in width and is unincorporated; that
they are three of the voters who voted in favor of becoming a part
of the town of North Richland Hills as shown by the petition on file,
that a majority of the inhabitants of the territory. who are quali-
fied to vote for members of the State Legislature, have voted. by
signing said petition, in favor of having said territory annexed to
and become a part of the town of North Richland Hills; now there-
fore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~ORTH RICHLA1~
HILLS. TEXAS:
SECTION I
That the following territory adjoining the limits of the town
of North Richland Hills, Texas, be and the same is hereby annexed
to and incorporated within the corporate limits of North Richland
Hills :
BEGINNING at a point in the West line of Coun~ Road
No. 3051 (Rufe Snow Road or Birdville-Wautauga Road), being
also the Southeast corner of the J. M. Gregory Survey; THENCE
North along the West line of sa.id County Road #3051 to its inter-
section with County Read #3022 (Wautauga-Smithfield Road) .A:p-
proximately 2640 feet North of said beginning point; THENCE
East along the South line of said County Road #3022 to its
intersection with Far.m-Market Road #1938 and continuing in a

straight line East to the Northwest corner of the Northern-most
L. C. Walker Survey and from THENCE continuing East along the
{t~.'\~\·, S.oo'th line of said Northern-most L. C. Walker Survey to the
Northeast corner of said surley" THENCE in a straight line
across County Road =/1=3035 to a point in the East line of County
Road =1/:3035 (Randol Mill-lIurst 1PÐlf1r Precinct Line Rd.);: THENCE
South and along the East line of s aid County Road #3035 to a
point in the Southeast Right-of-Way of state Highway #121;
THENCE in along said Southeast Right-of-Way of said State
Highway 11=121 to the Northern line of the City limits of North
Richland Hillsj THENCE along said Northern line to the point
of beginning" all points in the limits of the above described
property' being within one-half (1/2) mile from the corporate
limits of North Richland Hills" Texas
SECTION II
That the inhabitants of said territory shall, from and after
adoption of this ordinance" be entitled to all the rights and priv-
ileges of all and every other citizen of the town of North Riohl8.11d
Hills, and ahall be bound by the acts and ordinances thereof.
SECT ION III
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this.Lt.day of ~ 1958 there
being present the Mayor and ~Councilmen.
