ORD INANCE NO. 4:6
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING AND RECEIVING AS A PART OF THE
TOvVN OF NORTH RICHLA1~ HILLS, TEXAS, CERTAIN TERRITORY, AS DESCRTIiED
BY METES AND BOUNDS, ADJOINING THE PRESENT CITY LIMITS OF NORTH
RICHLAND HILLS;: PROVIDING THAT UPON ADOPTION HEREOF SAID TERRITORY
SHALL BECOME A PART OF SAID TOWN,; PROVIDING FOR RIGHT AND PRIVI-
LEGES OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE DESCRIBED TERRITORY; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, there Was filed with the Mayor and Council of
North Richland Hills, Texas the affidavit of three inhabitants to-
wit: A. C. Tarwater, Ethel D. Tarwater and Anna M. Edwards of the
hereinafter described territory adjoining the city limits of North
Richland Hills wherein affiants set forth that said territory is
not more than one-half (~) mile in width and is unincorporated;
that they are three of the voters who voted in favor of becoming a
p!U"t of the town of North Richland Hills as shown by the petition
on file, that a majority of the inhabitants of the territory, who
are qualified to vote for members of the State Legislature, have
voted, by signing said petition, in favor of having said territory
annexed to and become a part of the Town of North Richland Hills;
now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF NORTH RICHLAND
HILLS, TEXAS:
SECTION I
That the following territory adjoining the limits of the town of
North Richland Hills, Texas. be and the same is hereby annexed to and
incorporated within the corporate limits of North Richland Hills:
BEGINNING at a point in the West survey line of the most
Southerly J. Condra Survey. which is the present most North-
easterly corner of the city limits of North Richland Hills;
THENCE North approximately 2640 feet to a point in the T.
Spronce Survey; from said point THENCE Eastward in a straight
line which will coincide with the North survey line of the
W. D. Barnes Survey and will follow the North Right-of-Way
line of County Road No. 3074 (Smithfiel, -Keller junction);
and from THENCE continuous East in a straight line to a point
in the East survey line of the I. Carodine Survey approximately
2640 feet North of the most Northeasterly corner of the city
limits of North Richland Hills; THENCE South approximately
2640 feet to said most Northeasterly corner of the present
city limits of North Richland Hills; THENCE West dong the
Northern boundary line of North Richland Hills to the point
of beginning.

SECTION II
That the inhabitants of said territory shall, from and after
adoption of this ordinance. be entitled to all the rights and priv-
ileges of all and every other citizen of the town of North Richland
Hills. and shall be bound by the acts and ordinances thereof.
SECT ION I II
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect
from and immediately upon its adoption.
