A RESOLUTION
CALLING AN ELECTION ON TEE PROPOSITION
OF THE ISSUANCE OF $8~ 000.00 STREET
AND DRAINAGE BONDS.
WHEREAS, the Town Cou œil of the Town of North Richland
Hills, Texas, deems it advisable to issue the bonds of the said Town
for the purpose hereinafter mentioned;
BE IT BESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF TEE TOWN OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS,
TEXAS:
1. That an election be held in said Town of North Richland
Hills, Texas, on the 18th day of March, 1961, at which election the follow-
ing proposition shall be submitted:

Ii places, and the following persons are hereby appointed election officials

¡ to serve at said election:
"Shall the Town Council of the Town of North
Richland Hills, Texas, be a':1~ized to issue the bonds
of said Town in the sum of ~,ooo.oo, maturing
serially in such installments as may be fixed by the
Town Council, the maximum maturity date being not more
than Thirty (30) years from their date, and bearing
interest at a rate not to exceed Four and one-half
(4-1/210) per cent per annum, and to levy a tax suffi-
cient to pay the interest as it accrues and principal as
it matures on said issue of bonds, for the pUrPose of
improvin, the streets and providing drainage, as auth-
orized by the Constitution and laws of the State of
Texas."
2. That said election shall be held at the following

3. That said election shall be held under -the provisions
of Chapter 1, Title 22 of the Revised Civil Statutes of 1925, as amended,
and only legally qualified electors who own taxable property in said Town
and who have duly rendered the lame for taxation shall be qualified to
vote.
4. The ballots tor said election shall have written or
printed thereon the following:
"FOR THE ISSUANCE OF STREET AND DRAINAGE BONDS"
"AGAINST TEE ISSUANCE OF STREET AND DRAINAGE BONDS"
5. A substantial copy of this resolution signed by the
Mayor of said Town and attested by the Town Secretary shall serve as pro-
per notice of said election. Notice shall be given in accordance with
Article 104, Revised Civil Statutes of 1925, as amended by Chapter 382,
passed at the First Called Session of the Forty Fourth Legislature, supra.
The Mayor is authorized and directed to have a copy of said notice posted
at the Town Ball and in each of the voting precincts within said Town not
less than fifteen days prior to the date fixed for holding said election.
There being no newspaper published in the Town of North Richland Hills,
the Mayor shall also cause said notice to be published on the same day in
each of two successive weeks in a newspaper published within Tarrant
County and having general circulation within the Town of North Richland
Hills, Texas. The date of the first publication is to be not less than
fourteen days prior to the date set for said election. Except as other-
wise provided in said Article 104, ss amended, the manner of holding said
election shall be governed by the laws governing seneral elections.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this the 27th day of February, 1961.
