RESOLtJI'ION
CALLING AN ELECTION ON THE PROPOSITIONS
OF THE ISSUANCE OF $1,,220,,000 STREEr AND
DRAINAGE BONDS, $80" 000 TOWN HALL AND FIRE
STATION BONDR AND $50,,000 PARK BONDS.
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of North Richland
Hills" Texas" deems it advisable to issue the bonds of the said Town
for the purposes hen1nalt;er mentior..ed;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF NORTH RIC.m.AND HILLS"
TEXAS :
1. That fin election 'be held in said Town of North Richland
Hills, Texas, on the 2, day of October
the fOllowing proposlttons shall be submitted:

PitOPOSITION NO. .1
"Shall the Town Council of the Town of North
Richland Hills, Texas, oe authorized to issue the bonds
of said Town in the sum of $1,220,000.00, maturing
serially in such i.nstallments as may be fixed by the
Town Council, the maximum maturity date being not more
than Thirty (30) ~'ears from their date, and bearing
interest at a rate not to exceed Five (5%) per cent per
annum, and to levy a tax sufficient to pay the interest
as it accrues and principal as it matures on said issue
of bOnds, for tbe purpose of improving the streets and
providing drainage, as authorized by tbe Constitution
and laws of the State of Texas."
PROPOSITION NO. 2
"Shall the Town Council of the Town of North
Ricbland Hills" Texas" be authorized to issue the bonds
of said Town in the sum of $80,,000.00, maturing serially
in such installments as may be fixed by the Town Council"
the maximum maturity date being not more than Thirty (30)
years from their date" and bearing interest at a rate not
to exceed Five (5%) per cent per annum" and to levy a tax
sufficient to pay the interest as it accrues and princi-
pal as it matures on said issue of bonds" for the purpose
of constructing a City Hall and Fire Station" and the
purchase of a site therefor" as authorized by the Con-
stitution and laws of the State of Texas."
PROPOSITION NO.3
"Shall the Town Council of the Town of North
Ricbland Hills" Texas" be authorized to issue the bonds
of said Town in the sum of $50"000.00,, maturing serially
in such installments as may be fixed by the Town Council"
the maximum maturity date being not more than Thirty (30)
years from their date, and bearing interest at a rate not
to exceed Five (5%) per cent per annum" and to levy a tax
sufficient to pay the interest as it accrues and princi-
pal as it matures on said issue of bonds" for the purpose
of purchasing and improving land for park purposes" as
authorized by the Constitution and laws of the State of
Texas."

That said election shall be held at the following
places:
Owens MOdel Home
Precinct No. 1 at ~Sl.3 Tourist Drive
Civic Center
Precinct No. 2 at ~i'Pe Line Road at Morp:an Circle
Fire Hall
Precinct No. 3 at Smithfield

3. That said election shall be held under the provisions
of Chapter 1, 'l'ttle 22 of the Revised Civil statutes of 1925, as amended"
and only legally qualified electors who own taxable property in said Town
and who have duly rendered the same for taxation shall be qualified to
vote.
4. The ballots for said election shal1 have written or
printed thereon the following:
PROPOSITION NO. 1
"FOR THE ISSUANCE OF STREET AND DRAINAGE BONDS"
"AGAINST THE ISSUANCE OF STREEr AND DRAINAGE
BONDS"
PROPOSITION NO. 2
"FOR THE ISSUANCE OF CITY HALL AND FIRE STATION
BONDS"
"AGAINST THE ISSUANCE OF CITY HALL AND FIRE
STATION BONDS"
PROPOSITION NO. 3
"FOR THE ISSUANCE OF PARK BONDS"
"AGAINST THE ISSUANCE OF PARK BONDS"
5. A substantial copy of this resolution signed by the
Mayor of said Town and attested by the Town Secretary shall serve as pro-
per notice of said election. Notice shall be given in accordance with
Article 704" Revised Civil statutes of 1925, as amended by Chapter 382,

passed at the First Called Session of the Forty Fourth Legislature, supra.

The Mayor is authorized and directed to have a copy of said notice posted
at the Town Hall and in each of the voting precincts within said Town not
less than fifteen days prior to the date fixed for holding said election.
There being no newspaper published in the Town of North R1chland Hills,
the Mayor shall also cause said notice to be published on the same day in

II each of two Successive weeks in a newspa'Per published within Tarrant
II
II County and having general circulation within the Town of North Richland
Hills" Texas. The date of the first publication is to be not less than
fourteen days prior to the date set for said election. Except as other-
wise provided in said Article 704" as amended, the manner of hOlding said
election shall be governed by the laws governing general elections.
