ORDINANCE NO. 2089
AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 2,
SECTION 200, OF ZONING ORDINANCE NUMBER 1874, PASSED, APPROVED
AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON MARCH 22, 1993; PROVIDING A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, after appropriate notice and public hearing, the following recommendation is submitted
to the City Council of the City of North Richland Hills, Texas, by the Planning and Zoning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of North Richland Hills, Texas, has
forwarded a recommendation to the City Council for amendment of Ordinance No. 1874 and the
Official Zoning Map by rezoning certain property;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH
RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS:
1.
THAT, on Case Number PZ 95-22, the following described property shall be rezoned from AG
Agriculture to R-3 Single Family Residential:
BEING a portion of that certain tract, parcel or lot of land located in the Tandy K. Martin Survey,
Abstract Number 1055, Tarrant County, Texas; said tract also being the same tract described in a
warranty deed conveyed to Lydia Laymance in Volume 2249, Page 425 of the Deed Records of
Tarrant County, Texas; said tract being more particularly described by metes and bounds as
follows:
BEGINNING at a pipe in the north line of said survey, 2607.30 feet west of the northeast corner of
said survey, also 25 feet west of the southeast corner of the J.B. Eden Survey, Abstract Number
499, also at the intersection of S.L. & S.W.R.R. north right of way line;
THENCE West 1,467.50 feet to a pipe for northwest corner of this tract;
THENCE South 1,015.00 feet to a pipe for the southwest corner and north right-of-way line of the
S.L. & S.W.R.R.;
THENCE North 55 degrees 19 minutes 49 seconds East 1,784.32 feet along the north right-of-
way line of the S.L. & S.W.R.R to the POINT OF BEGINNING, containing 17.1 acres of land,
more or less.
This property is located in the 8800 block of Amundson Drive, on the north side of the railroad tracks.

THAT, the Official Zoning Map be redrawn to incorporate this zoning district boundary amendment
and the herein described ordinance number be affixed to the property described herein.
3.
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. That it is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council that the
section, paragraphs, sentences, clauses and phrases of this ordinance are severable, and if any
phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or section of this ordinance shall be declared invalid or
unconstitutional by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity
or unconstitutionality shall not affect any of the remaining phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs
or sections of this ordinance, since the same would have been enacted by the City Council without
the incorporation in this ordinance of any such invalid or unconstitutional phrase, clause, sentence,
paragraph or section.
4.
EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
