Home My WebLink AboutIDC 2007-05-25 Minutes City of North Richland Hills Industrial Development Corporation City Hall Pre-Council Room Friday, May 25,2007 MINUTES Board Members Present: Mr. Bob Hamm Mr. Richard Work Mr. David Myers Mr. Robert Harrison Mr. Tommy Brown Board Members Absent: Mr. Charles Brinkley Mr. Rita Qujesky Staff Present: Mr. Thad Chambers, Economic Development Director, City of NRH Ms. Phyl Baloga, Administrative Secretary, City of NRH Thad Chambers, Director of Economic Development called the Industrial Development Corporation meeting to order at 12:13 p.m. Bob Hamm made a motion that the Industrial Development Corporation keep the same slate of officers that the Health Facilities Development Corporation just voted on. The only difference between both corporations slate of officers is the Industrial Development Corporation has no requirement for an Assistant Secretary position. Tommy Brown seconded that motion. All board members voted unanimously and the motion passed. Tommy Brown nominated Patricia Hutson as the registered agent for the Industrial Development Corporation. The board was all in favor and this nomination passed unanimously. President Robert Harrison asked the question if both bonds were still alive. Larry Koonce addressed Mr. Harrison's question regarding outstanding bonds. There is one issue of Industrial Development Bonds outstanding which will expire in 2013 however the City is not liable. There is also on issue of Health Facilities Development Bonds outstanding which will expire in 2024 and once again the City is not liable. The Health Facilities Development bonds were for the Meadowlakes Retirement Facility.
