Debbie informed the Commission about another new Park's program called Green

One of the projects planned for Green Teens is to plant a garden and use the
vegetables to make a salsa. Debbie will be assisting by applying for grants to help

Debbie said she knew that the Parks Master Plan is being revised and that staff would
like to see a community garden in NRH.
Debbie told the Commission members that the City's horticulturalist is identifying
and registering large trees in the city, which is similar to the old Trophy Tree program
that was done fifteen years ago. Kathy suggested reviewing the tree ordinance after
the holidays. Debbie reminded the members of the N. E. Recycles Day Flea Market
being held on Saturday, November 10, 2007.
