PS 94-09 MINUTES FOR THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICH LAND HILLS, TEXAS March 24, 1994 - 7:30 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Chairman James Brock at 7:30 p.m. PRESENT Chairman Members James Brock Fred Wi Ison Ron Lueck Wayne Moody Victor Baxter David Barfield Don Bowen Barry LeBaron Clayton Husband Paul Miller Director Plan/lnsp Planner ABSENT Mr. Lueck made the motion to approve the minutes as presented. The motion was seconded by Mr. Barfield, and the motion carried 5-0, with Mr. Brock and Mr. Bowen abstaining due to absence at the previous meeting. Public Hearing to consider revisions to the Master Thoroughfare Plan regarding Browning Drive. Mr. LeBaron stated the proposed amendment will change the designation of Browning Drive from a C4U to a C2U. He stated the roadway is currently built at the C2U standards. He stated this will make the plan consistent with what currently exists. Chai rman B rock opened the Publ ic Heari ng and called for those wish i ng to speak to come forward at this time. There being no one wishing to speak, Chairman Brock closed the Public Hearing. Mr. Barfield asked if the change to a C2U will change the requirement in regards to a masonry screening wall. Mr. LeBaron stated yes. Mr. Wilson made the motion to approve PS 94-10. The motion was seconded by Mr. Moody, and the motion carried 7-0. Request of Meadow Lakes North Company for Final Plat of Meadow Lakes North Addition, Phase I. This property is located south of Browning Drive, west of Iron Horse Golf Course. Mr. Delbert Stembridge, 6528 Sherri Lane, came forward to speak. He stated he is the engineer for the developer. Victor Baxter, Secretary Planning and Zoning Commission comments. Mr. Wilson made the motion to approve PS 94-09, subject to engineer's comments. The motion was seconded by Mr. Bowen, and the motion carried 7-0. None Continuation of the Public Hearing to consider amending the Subdivision Regulations Ordinance No. 1579 in its entirety. TABLED 3/10/94 Chairman Brock reopened the Public Hearing and called for those wishing to speak to come forward at this time. There being no one wishing to speak, Chairman Brock closed the Public Hearing. Mr. LeBaron stated the revision establishes separate application procedures for all plats, which should streamline the process. He stated the drainage study requirements have been clarified. He stated all the requirements for streets, water, sewer, etc. are in one location. Chairman Brock stated the comments from the developers has been very positive. Mr. Lueck complimented the staff, Mr. LeBaron and Mr. Husband on the fine work they did on these revisions. Mr. Barfield made the motion to approve PS 94-01. The motion was seconded by Mr. Baxter, and the motion carried 7-0. None. None. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. Planning a
