PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS,
JANUARY 5, 1982 - 6:00 P. M.
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by the
Chairman, Carl Greenfield, at 6:05 P. M.

Request of Nasser Shafipour to rezone
Tracts B1A and 18B, Abstract 1606,
W. W. Wallace Survey, from their present
classification of Local 'Retail to a
proposed classification of Commercial-
Specific Use-Office Building and/or
Apartments.
This property is located on the east
side of Davis Blvd. and is bounded on the
east by Irish ~·1eadows Addi'tion.

David Barfield came forward to represent
Mr. Shafipour in the absence of his
Engineer, Delbert Stembridge.
Mr. Barfield stated as discussed at the
last Planning and Zoning meeting, Mr.
Shafipour wishes to build a high rise
office bui'ldi'ng and apartments. He said
there would be retail shops on the main
floor and the rest would be office space.
Mr. Tucker asked how many tracts of land
was involved.
Mr. Barfi"eld said it was two tracts, but
they plan to divide them into four pieces.

The Chairman opened the Public Hearing and
called for those wishing to speak in favor
of this request to please come forward.

Chairman called for those wishing to speak
in opposition to please come forward.
There being no one wishing to speak, the
Chairman closed the Public Hearing.
Mrs. Nash asked which tract the shopping
area would be on and how many stories
they plan to build.
Mr. Barfield said they plan to build a
three story office building with the first
floor for retail and the apartments would
also be three stories. He showed where
they would be located.
Mr. Tucker moved to approve PZ 81-45 for
Commercial-Specific Use for an office
building, shopping, and apartments.
This motion was seconded by Mrs. Nash and
the motion carried 5-0.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 6:15 P. M.
