MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE
ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE
CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS
JULY 8, 1982 - 7:00 P. M.
The meeting was called to order by
the Chairman, H. B. Helton, at
7 : 00 P. M.

CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES
OF JUNE 10, 1982

Mr. Erck moved to approve the minutes
as written.
This motion was seconded by Dr. Hahn
and the motion carried 2-0 with Helton
and Stimmel abstaining since they were
not present at the meeting.
The Chairman moved this request to the
end of the agenda since no one was
present to present the request.
Request of Terry Anthony to vary from
the Zoning Ordinance #179 on Lot 8,
Block 11, Stonybrooke Addition, to be
allowed to build a fence be~ond the
side building line.
This property is located at 8433
Timberline Court.
Wayne Anthony came forward. He said his
wife, Terry, signed the request. Mr.
Anthony said he started his fence without
knowing he needed a permit and also he
did not know about the building line. He
said he set the fence back 20 feet from
the curb so there would not be any problem
seeing around it.

Mr. Helton asked if there were other
fences near him that was set 20 feet
from the curb.
Mr. Anthony said there wasn1t any
fences there, he was the first one to
put up a fence.
Mr. Anthony said when he found out
about the building line, he had already
set the posts in concrete and he needs
this variance.
Dr. Hahn asked Mr. Rice if he could see
any problem with this fence.
Mr. Rice said he didn1t. He said there
were several down the street that were
out that far.
Mr. Erck asked if there had been any
correspondence.
Mrs. Calvert said there had been none.

The Chairman opened the Public Hearing
and called for those wishing to speak
in favor of this request to please come
forward.
David Besgrove, 7020 Stonybrooke Drive,
came forward. He said he was a neighbor
and he could see no pnoblem with this
fence~ Mr. Besgrove said there was
plenty of room for the sidewalk. He said
he did not know if this was a new ordinance
or not, but there were several fences in
that area that is not set right.
The Chairman called for those wishing to
speak in opposition to this request to
please come forward.

APPROVED
There being no one wishing to speak, the
Chairman closed the Public Hearing.
Mr. Stimmel made the motion to grant
SA 82-9 as requested.

This motion was seconded by Mr. Erck and
the motion carried 4-0 with the following

Request of Ralph M. Iglesias to vary
from the Zoning Ordinance #179 on
Lot 10, Block 46, Richland Terrace
Addition, to be allowed to build a
fence beyond the side building line.
This property is located at 5100
Abby Road.
Dr. Hahn said that since no one
came to present this request, he felt
the Board should postpone any action
until next month.
Dr. Hahn made the motion to postpone
BA 82-8 until the next meeting,
August 12, 1982.
This motion was seconded by Mr. Erck
and the motion carried 4-0 with the
following vote recorded: Hahn, yea,
Erck, yea, Stimmel, yea, and Helton, yea.
The meeting adjourned at 7:15 P. M.
