reauest of Fort Worth Christian School for a
variance from the City of north Pichland Hills
zonin~ ordinance r!o. 17~ on Rlock f, in Colleoe
Hill ,Addition. This request is to locate a
1~1 X 701 Lancer mobile home on the campus for
use hy the custodian for security purposes.
This property is located on Po~art Drive and
Colleqe Circle.

r~r. Charles O\-len, Chairman of the 80ard of the
Ft. Harth Christian School presented this request.

Mr. nwen stated the school has a ~1,8~~,non
campus on 48 acres anrl the vandalism is quite a
problem; hroken windows, paint thrown around,
furniture torn up and the cafeteria broken into.

on the campus at all t~Mes for security purposes.
This mobile home is in excellant condition and if
nev.' it \-foulrl cost $lP,nnn or ~19,nnn. It \A/ill be
placed at the back part of the campus behind
existin~ huildings. We were previously niven a
variance for e;~ht temporary units used as dormi-
tories for five years. They have all been removed.

the school decided to use a Mohile home. The

buil~ a permanent structure in five years. ^ll
utilities are availahle.

~,4r. Ed~e staterl he \'!as not in opposition of a
Mobile home heinn rlaced on the property. He
asked if it would have anythinº to do with the
tax situation and if it would devaluate his
property. He was tolrl the school rloes not recieve
~on;es frOM ~tate or Federal taxes ann the mobile
home will be well landscared and will not be seen
from Deaver Rd.; therefore it should not devalue
the property.

Trotter moved, seconded b,y Dr. Hahn to grant thi s
request, includinq a carport, for five years with
a three year extension if so needed. Motion
carried 3-".
