Pauline Spain ABSENT Mr. Leslie Trotter }~. Jay Jones moved, seconded by ~œ. Jack Roseberry to approve the minutes as written. Request of Robert S. Folsom Investments, Inc. to erect a twelve story building. This property is located North of Airport Freeway at Eastern City Limit Line of North Richland Hills. ~vALTER ELLIOTT - Engineer - Mr. Elliot t showed drawings and explained the Company has 98.0 acres of land in Hurst and North Richland ltills combined. This property is presently zoned Local Retail and Jvlultiple Family. The tract zoned Local Retail is property said Co. is requesting variance for a twelve story building. DENNIE HOLMAN - Folsom, Inc. - Mr. Holman statedthey specialized in Apartments and Shopping Centers but had built many office buildings in Fort Worth and Dallas. He showed pictures to the Commission lJlembers of office buildings thay had built. He stated they wanted a variance on total tract as there is a possibility of one to four buildings to be built. The plan is similar to Twin Towers of Dallas. ED KffiBY - artichect - 11r. Kirby stated approximately 4.2% of ground would be used for building. Thirty percent will be landscap'èd. One parking space per 250 square f,èet of leasable area. lo1Ir. llirby also discussed types of glass that could be used. . DON SC~IIDT - Folsom, Inc. - Mr. Schmidt stated he hoped they could begin in October and it would take about a year to complete. The company has the ability and facilities to make it a success. The elevator penthouse is approximately 150' above grQund level; considerably below approach pattern for lfanghum airfield. After discussion by the commission members Dr. Hahn moved, seconded by Jack Roseberry to grant this request. Motion carried 4-0. }æ. Jones moved, seconded by Dr. Hahn to adjourn.
