1·1r. Trotter moved seconded by }J1r. Jones, that the minutes
of the previous meeting be approved. l-fotion .carried 4-0.
Request of l~fr. David Robert Haas for a variance from the
city of North Richland Hills Zoning Ordinance No. 179 on .-
lot 18, Block 17 of Richland Terrace Addition to erect a
cedar fence inside 15' line, joining existing fence at
rear of yard. This property is at Nancy Lane and
flaplewood Ave.
l\lr. Helton asked if anyone was in the audience to speak
in behalf of this request.
}~s. Haas stated she has two children and she and her
husband felt the fence would be a safety guard. She
is alone quite a bit and feels she would have more
privacy and also safer. She read the sub-division
ordinance stating the fence should be 30 ft. from curb
at front of property. ~lrs. Haas showed picture taken
from her car showing visability was good from both
~Nancy Lane and 1JIaplewood.
~:~s. Gray spoke for the fence
~~. Long was for the fence
~·ír. Paul Schmidt verified the pictures llrs. Haas showed.
He also feels the fence would be an asset to the community.
After discussion by the members of the commission Mr.
Jones moved, seconded by }~. Trotter to approve this
request with stipulation that the fence is erected as
propesed in plat. The motion carried 4-0.

Request of r1r. George S. Tremper for a variance from
the city of North Richland Hills Zoning Ordinance No.
179 of lot 5 block J of the Richland Oaks addition to
erect a cyclone fence 12' from the curb line on
Eldorado Drive. This property is located at Jerri Jo
and Eldorado Drive.

Ilr. Helton asked if any one was in the audience to speak
in behalf of this request.
l\tfr. Tremper came forward to speak.
After discussion by the members I¡Ir. Trotter moved, seconded
by 1·1r. Jones to approve this request as sbown on plat.
The motion carried 4-0.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS
1.fr. Helton asked if there were any nomination for Chairman
for the coming year. 1-ir. Jones liloved, seconded by lfr.
Mills that the present board officers continue for the
coming year. l:lotion carried 4-0.
The board thanked 1\1r. l.fills for his cooperation in the
past and wished him well in his new assignment as member
of the Planning & Zoning Commission.
