Zoning Conwdssion was called to order by

Approval of minutes of the previous rlleeting was made by r<Ir. Sprott,
seconded by l'Ir. Cra,,,ford vrith the correction of PZ 70-7, request of
l_~r. John 1-1. Barfield to rezone 22.8334 acres more or less out of '
tIle John Barlough Survey from its present classification of "Agri-
culture" to a proposed classification of "Planned Development".
Ilr. r~rfield came forward to present his case to the members of the
Comrnission. Ilr. Barfield's request 'tvas for IF-7 lots and 1,100
square foot house. lIe stated that t11is ,,,,ould allo,'{ him to sell at
a total cost less than $20,000.00. He stated that 75% of the pros-
pecti ve 11onleo'~mers are unable to qualify for homes in excess of
~:)20,OOO.OO. He stated he would build under F I-I 1\ 203B and V 1\
Building progra~. The other minutes of February 26, 1970 remain
u_ncl1anged. r. lotion carried unanirnously.
PZ 70-7 IJr. Porter informed the members of the board that the
infornlation requested pertaining to these cases had
been obtained by I'·:r. Ballenger, and it was the opinion
of the City Engineers that a 60 foot R.O.1rJ. in a lIorth
South direction 11'ould meet t11e requirernents of the City.
Therefore, the plat as submitted providing for such a
R.O.l'!. would be in compliance. It vias pointed out that
future plattings of tl1e properties to the ~Jorth and South
should also reflect the continuation of this 60 foot R.O.W.

I~eJ;1~bers of t11e Commission briefly discussed lot sizes and
zon.ing requ.irements with r"Ir. Barfield. There being no
furt11er discussion, and on a Taotion by I·lr. Crawford,
seconded b~y ITr. Sprott, the Corunission voted to recom-
mend approval of Zoning Case PZ 70-7. 11otion carried
