The regular meeting of the Planning and
Zoning Commission was called to order by

PZ 69-37 Request of 14r. Frank A. Shellburg and Mary Louise
Hazelwood to rezone 12.576 acres out of the O. Rum-
field Survey from its present classification of "Agri-
culture" to a proposed classification of "l~lultiple
Family Dwelling". :[\Jo one came forward to represent the
case to the Commission, therefore, no action was taken.
Ì'1r. Fred llforrow came forward from the audience speak-
ing for himself, 111'. Kirk, and I'-'!r. Slate as having no
objection to the request for rezoning.
PZ 69-38 Request of Village Properties to rezone 39.34 acres out
of the vl.W. ~vallace Survey from its present classifica-
tion of "Agriculture" to a proposed classification of
"Planned Development It. :Mr. Anisman came forward to
present this case to the Commission. Plans had been
submitted prior to the meeting for ~J1r. Ballenger to
review. Mr. Anisman stated that Planned Development
zoning would give the City better supervision of con-
struction, and the City would not be taking any risk
in this development. Traffic flow and buffer zone had
been worked out. }rlr. Jerry Baker came forw-ard to present
the plans to the Commission and audi~nce. He stated this
would consist of a golf cource, day school, park, lake
and other recreational facilities. There would be less
than 16 units per acre, and they were ready to start
construction immediate¡Y. There would be 200 units for
phase one. There would be 14 different floor plans, all
total electric. The buffer would be 34 townhouses all
one story two family unit. There would be 8 to 12

un.its per building. The one bed room apartments would
not be all in one unit. All utilities would be under-
ground. The total when completed would consist of 678
units and 78 townhouses. He stated they would work with
the City any possible way regarding streets, traffic
flow, and any other requirments the City might ask of
