PZ 69-39 Request of })lr. Charles ~v. Zartman for a variance
from the City of North Richland Hills Zoning Ordi-
nance ~Jo. 179 to Dlace a mo()i1e home on his property
on a ryermanent basis to be lived in. ~Ir. Zartman Sr.
came forward to nresent his case to the members of
the board. ¡'·Ir. Zartman stated that he wanted the
mobile home for his son for a period of 5 years or
TTIOre. His nronerty consist of 12 acres and he did not
want to sell any of it at the present time, as 11e
considered it would be more value to lLim at a later
date. The rylace he had in mind to place the mobile
home was where a house once was. That would be where
the sentic tank is located. There is no sewage btlt
water and gas are available. Ivlr. Zartman stated he
would lease this -part of the property to Ilis son.
J.'Tr. Ernst asl{ed what size mobile home was he intend-
ing to buy. ]·Ir. Zartman stated it would be 12 X 60.
lir. Helton stated tllat the members wanted to help and
not hender anyone. l'Ir. I-Ielton told l·fr. Zartman that
the members would like to review the case, and he
would be notified in a few days the decision of the

ful consideration and discussion of the request, r1r.
Helton called the meeting back to order, and asked
for a motion. lIotion of denial was made by 1~. Lofland,
seconded l)~ll:fr. Trotter. I"·1otion carried 4-0 to deny the
req1.1est with l'lr. Ernst voting against the lTIotion. The
melm)erS of the board asked that an opinion from City
Attorne¿l, }ir. Dennis J;forrow be rendered to validate
the nresent Ordinance as related to the placing of
rao bile homes on ryri vate property.
