Porter Secretary, John Sprott Jr. . e was to immediately apply for "jilul tiple Faimily" zoning on si tee He stated there were no streets constructed on this property, only vacant land. ¡rhe members of the commission reviev-led the plat. }ilr. V·ernon Greer came forward to review the plat with the members. Mr. Lucas came forward stating he had p11rchased property in 1966 South of the property in question. I'dr. Lucas stated he had not filed his platted property, and was waiting to see what the Land Planners had in mind. He stated that there were two problems, being street and drainage on both pieces of property. Mr. Lucas stated that he only asked for cooperation from l/[r. Johnston and r~Tr. Bozeman, and would work with them in every way. The availability of gas and sewage services was asked by T~lr. Scoggins. It was pointed out that the availability of these services was not the business of this commission, however, if this project were to materialize, utili ti tes would of necessity be provided. T/Iotion of denial was made by Mr. ~rawford, seconded by Mr. Pyron. Motion carried by 3-0. e PZ 69-25 Itequest of h~r. Cecil Johnston and l:~ir. J. A. Bozeman to rezone 29.484 acres out of the Napper Addition from its present classification of "1F-12 One Family Dwelling' to a proposed classification of 'tT~Iul tiple Family Dwelling". Chairman, l'ilr. Ray Porter asked if anyone was present to represent this zoning case. No one came forward and of necessity motion of denial was made by Mr. Pyron, seconded by fur. Crawford. Motion carried 3-0. e PZ 69-26 Request of I;'Ir. lilan I-ìamm to rezone 32.4 acres out of the W. W. Wallace Survey from its present classification of "Agriculture" and "Industrial" to a proposed classification of "Special Useff. J.'Ir. Hamm came forward to present his case to the members of the board. His request was for a mobile home park. He stated there was a great demand for this type home. This would consist of recreational facilities, patios, landscaping, parking area, front yards, and larger lot size than required by the zoning ordinance. 1rJith inflation cost so great to build, this would help persons wanting to buy in many ways. This would be approved by F.R.A. and they will carry a 40-year loan. All utilities will be underground. The private streets would be main- tained by the owners. Due to the location of the property, it would be the best and highest use. Mr. Joe Barnett came forward stating he was in agreement with the request of this type zoning due to the industrial area surrounding the property requested to be rezoned. IvIr. Barnett stated he requested industrial for his property, and there was a possibility that he may at a later date e e . PS 69-7 OLD BUSINESS ADJ OURNIHENT Secretary, John Sprott, Jr. apply for similar zoning. Motion of approval was made by Mr. Crawford, seconded by Mr. Porter. Motion carried 2-1 with Mr. Pyron voting against. Request of Hichland Enterprises, Inc. to review preliminary plat of drainage for Holiday North Addi tion. ~lr. Alan Hamm came forward to present the plat to the members of the commission. Chair- man, }vlr. Ray Porter read the Ie tter of approval from the City Engineers. Members reviewed the plat. Ivlotion of approval was made by I~lr. Crawford, seconded by kr. Pyron. Motion carried 3-0. Request of Hichland Enterprises, Inc. to review part of the final plat of Holiday North Addition. ~ir. Alan Hamm came forward to present the plat to the commission. After review of the plat motion of approval was made by Mr. Crawford, seconded by Mr. Pyron. Motion carried 3-0.
