Board members reviewed the minutes of the previous meeting of Hay 14,
1968. Chairnan, l~. Ray Porter noted an error in the rrd.nutes, as stated
tile Planning (:. Zoning Commission voted on the request to classif~t from
"Commercial" to "Local-Retail", with "Local-RetaiP carrying unanimously.
The minutes should have read the Planning & Zo~inG Commis3ion voted on
the request to classify from "Agric111ture" to "local-Retail", ,·rith "Local-
Retail" carrying li..'1Bl1ÏI:1ously. r~otion of approval of tÌ1e LLÏnutes after the
correction n1B.de by [rr. Pyron, andvr. Crawford seconded the motion. T-Cotion
carried undr.r'limous~v.

R.equest of ]"-rs. Beulah Eailes Brown to rezone the following described
property from its present classification of "Agriculture If to a pro-
posed classifjcation of "r"~ultiple F~l1ily' wellinG". Beginning at a
point in the &st line of the \~l. '~{. vial.J.Ace :¿606 aCl-'e Surve3T 891 Varas
South of its Northeast corner; Thence South along the East line of
said Survey 950 feet; Thence 11est parrallel 'with tIle !Jort11 line of
lIarwood Road 1080 feet; TI1ence I'Jorth 950 feet; T11ence East ll50 feet

& Zoning Co:mmission. lfe at that ti':16 checked the leßal against the
plat submitted. In checking out the plat it wag fo'_md the d:"stö.nce
o.f ll50 feet as shcym on the plat to be incorrect" and should be IOeO.
This correction was made on the plat and signed b:)T I-æs. Brown and
[¡er Attorney ,tr. Don Stegall. ¡.fr. Porter read the mailing list to the
cO::u7!ission stating that no letters -v¡ere returned fro:n the propert3T
miners trithin 200 feet of the property to be rezoned. l'~r. Don SteGall
carne forth to represent 11rs. Br01v'11. lie l"ead her request for reason to
rezone, and gave the discription of the propert:l to the Cornrrrission.
