of the previous meeting. l~r. lJalker seconded the motion.

1. !PZ 68-7 Request of 1:'r. IIenry !-I. Dickerson Jr. to rezone
.36 acres out of t11e L.G. l'Jallcer Survey from~ its present
classification of "Agriculture" to a proposed classification
of n1~ultiple Family Th·rellingn. !-fr. Pyron read tl1e request
to the commission. lIr. George Gee came fanfare to present
the case to the commission representing ¡':ir. Diclcerson. lie
stated they intended to build 19 to 20 Units per acre in
the the tolal of 700 Apartments \1aS the reason for the re-
quest for rezoning. I,h-. Gee d.escribed t11e Apartrrrents and
Shopping Center as they were building in various cities.
After discttssion of tho co~ti.ssion of the reeFIest, tt.."1d the
excess of street erltre..nce from I~rood Road, lír. Pyron asked
if anyone had an questions regarding the reqt:tent. The

seconded by 1.f;r. l!alI{er. IIotion carried unaniraously.

state his case to tIle board. lIe stated that vritll 700 Apart-
ments, and approximately J..~500 students enrolled in Tarrant
Cotmty Jr. College in Sept~~..ber of 1968, a S110pping center

Tarrant COlliïty Jr. Colle go ca~e forward and voiced his opinion
as to some of the businesses the college "lould not be in favor
of. After consideration, ?Tr. Gee wanted h:ts reqtl.est of zoning
to be changed from "Commercial" to "Local RetaillJ. The board
voted in regard to the cl~ge of re~est. rIDtion carried 3-0

and If!'. Denny, the contractor' came forward to represent ~1:r . Browder
in the zoning request. l!r. Clapp eXplained that tqey \mnted to:::re-

¡¡ould consist of one a'lltomatio, and four serve your self, and were
ready for construction nm1. It was the recommendationot the 'commiss-
ion that this was the best suited bue~ness for this property~
