Motion was made by Mr. Pyron for approval of the minutes
for the June 16, 1966 meeting. Mr. Crawford seconded the
mot ion. L10t lon carried 4- o.
IV. ZONING C4SES:

1. PS 66-5 Chairman, Mr. Ray Porter read the legal
description of the property requested to
be V8.Ca. ted.
fvIr. Leland flodges addressed the Commission
to explain the advantRges in the vacation.
Mr. Kinnman spoke in opposition of the
proposal because of blocking the strc·;ets to
his adjoining acreage.
11r. rfone:es stated he vlould submi t B, letter
granting an easement to Mr. Kinnman's property.
Mr. Kelly of 4901 Oakridge Terrace opposed
the vacation, and presented a signed petition
requesting a delAY for further investigation
of the case.
Mr. Elmer Cain, Mr. Snodßrass, Mrs. Stephenson,
and Mrs. Charles Shirley also expressed
opposition to the case. Secretary of the
Plannin,f!; and Zoning Commiss ion read aloLld
Article 10 of Ordinance QJJ, pertaining to
Class nen Resid.ential Districts.
Mr. Porter read aloud ~ letter of protest
for Mr. Elmer D. Cain.
Mr. Grawford made a motion of denial, and
seconded by Mr. Pyron.
Tv1otion of rlenia~l carried by a vote of 2-1.
2. PZ 66-9 Mr. Porter read the application and legal
description to the audience. After some
discussion, Mr. Crawford m~de ~ motion to
deny the request. Mr. Pyron seconded the
mot ion. r~ot ion of ò.eni9-1 ca rrieð_ by a vote
of 3-0.

3. PZ 66-8 Mr. Pyron asked to be disqualified, and was
excused due to personal reasons.
Mr. Johnson expressed his desires for the re-
zoning.
Mr. Sprott mRde a motinn of apnroval. Mr.
Crawford seconded the motion. Motion of
approval carried by R vote 0f 3-0.
