and }~. John Crawford.

CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES:
Motion was made by Mr. Marshall :for approval o:f the minutes of
September 8, 1966 and September 15, 1966 meetings. Nr. Crawford
seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.

ZONING CASES:
l~ PZ 66-11 ~~. Phillips asked the Commission to grant his
request. l-lotion of approval was made by ~fr.
~farshall and seconded by Mr. Crawford. Motion
carried unanimously.
2.
PS 66-6 ¥æ. McClennahan asked the Commission to grant the
vacation request. ~~. Porter explained the purpose
of the vacation to the audience. Motion o:f approval
was made by }fr. ]'farshall, and seconded by ~fr.
Crawford. 1vIotion carried unanimously.

3. PS 66-7 ¥æ. Clint Smith asked the Commission to grant his
request for the vacation. Mr. Peterson also addressed
the Commission and explained the advantages of the
request. Mr. J.D. Lewis openly opposed the request.
l~'1otion was made by }Vfr.. 1~:T.arshall in favor of the
request, and seconded by ~fr. Crawford. Motion of
approval carried unanimously.
4. PZ 66-13 }~. Peterson explained the purpose of the request for
re-zoning, saying the tract of land could be more
justly utilized by building a Mall type Shopping
Center. Mr. R.D. Stillwell, 1.fr. Jim Bushan, Mr.
Frank Dotter, ~1r. J. D. Lewis , and Ivfrs. tv. T. Clark
opposed the request. 1~1otion of denial was made by
JvIr. Crawford, and seconded by IvTr. Marshall.
}·fotion of denial carried by a vote of 2-1.
Mr. Porter suggested the case be reviewed by the
City's Master Planner for further study.

Crawford. }lotion carried unanimously.
