HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 2530 ORDINANCE NO. 2530 AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 8,642.83 SQUARE FOOT TRACT OF LAND OUT OF THE JOHN MCCOMAS SURVEY, ABSTRACT 1040 FROM AG AGRICULTURAL TO R3 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY OF NORTH RICH LAND HILLS ZONING ORDINANCE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City has received a_ request for a change in zoning district boundaries; and .' WHEREAS, after appropriate notic~ 'and public hearing, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of North Richland Hills, Texas, has forwarded a recommendation to the City Council for amendment of the Zoning Ordinance and the OffiGial Zoning Map by rezoning certain property as set forth herein; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS: 1. THAT, in Case Number PZ 2000-42, a 8,642.83 square foot tract of land out of the John McComas Survey, Abstract 1040, located at 7829 Odell Street, as shown and described in Exhibit "A", shall be rezoned from AG Agricultuaral District to R3 Single Family Residential District and, 2. THAT, the Official Zoning Map be redrawn to incorporate this zoning district boundary amendment and the herein described ordinance number be affixed to the property described herein. 3. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. That it is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council that the section, paragraphs, sentences, clauses and phrases of this ordinance are severable, and if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or section of this ordinance shall be declared invalid or unconstitutional by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect any of the remaining phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs or sections of this ordinance, since the same would have been enacted by the City Council without the incorporation in this ordinance of any such invalid or unconstitutional phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or section.
