ZONING COMMISSION MEETING

CALL TO ORDER: Jim MCcoy.
Members Present: Messers Jim McCoy, Buddy Oxford, R. C. Moncrief
E. F. Abbott, and C. W. Adcock.

DISCUSSION - LOTS ONE (1) THROUGH SEVEN (7), BLOCK 2¿ RICH-

HESID~NTIAL TO CLASS "C" RESIDENTIAL:
Mr. McCoy read the legal notice that appeared in the Daily News
Texan and then asked that Mr. Cummings state his reasons for-wãnt-
ing this property rezoned. Mr. Cummings stated that he desired to
erect apartment houses on this property. Mr. McCoy then asked if
there was any opposition to tilis request. There wasn't any. Dis-
Cussimn followed and Mr. Oxford made motion and Mr. Moncrief seconded
it to recommend approval of this request. Motion carried 4-0.
2. DISCUSSION - BUILDING LINE OF APARTI1E1~ HOUSES:

Mr. Cummings asked that the commission also take action on his request
to be allowed to construct building or porches 'to the front of the
property ljne on Plaza Drive and Venice Drive. Discussion followed and
Mr. Moncrief made motion and Mr. Oxford seconded it that the request
be granted on this particular property, Lots 1 through 7 of Block 2
in the Hichland Plaza Addition. Motion carried 4-0.

Mr. Abbott made motion and Mr. Oxford seconded that the meeting
a~journ. Metion:carried 4-0. Meeting adjourned at 7:45 P. M.
