CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Ray Porter.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Messers Ray Porter, R. C. Moncrief, and Buddy
Oxford. Mrs. Garrison present in the absence of Mr. W. E. French.
1. DISCUSSION - 2.2 ACRES OF THE WILlIAM BARNES SURVEY, ABSTRACT

After the legal notice that appeared in the Daily News Texan was
read requesting that the afore mentioned property be rezoned, Mr.
Porter asked for comments from the audience. Mrs. Carlson and
Mr. Sutton explained that the property would be used as a place
to manufacture and expreiment with a new type of feeders. There
wasn't any opposition to the rezoning. After some discussion
Motion was made by Mr. Oxford and seconded by Mr. Moncrief that
the property be rezoned to I~u~t~ial.·Motion carried )-0.
2. DISCUSSION - LOTS ONE THROUGH EIGHTEEN OF BLOCK D OF THE
LYNNCREST ADDITION:

After reading the legal notice that was published in the News
Texan Mr. Porter asked for comments from the audinece. Mr.
Arnold explained that the property WaS not logical for resi-
dences now since the State Highway Loop 820 was coming across
one corner of the property.
Mr. Martin H. Miller, 7817 Mary Frances Lane, stated that he
was definitely opposed to the change in zoning because he was
afraid that there would not be any houses built behind him and
he ~s also afraid it would cause the valuation of his property
to drop.
Mr. Clarence Baecht, 7821 Mary Frances Lane, stated he was
opposed for the same reasons as Mr. Miller. Mr. C. E. Bailey
7809 Mary Frances Lane also was opposed for the same reason.
After considerable discussion Mr. Moncrief made a motion to rec-
ommend to the CiÞJ Council that the petition be approved for
Local Retail Business, motion was seconded by Mr. Oxford and
carried )-0.
3. DISCUSSION - LOT l606t B:OCK 10F~ OF THE LYNNCREST ADDITION:
Mr. Porter read the legal notice that was published in the News
Texan àhd asked for comments from the audience. Mr. Sayers-
stated that the property was not logical for residences. There
wasn't any opposition. After some discussion Mr. Oxford made
a motion and Mr. Moncrief seconded the motion to rezone the
property to Local Retail Business. Motton carried )-0.

At the regular meeting of the North Richland Hills City Council,
held November 4, 196), the City Council voted to deny the petition
to rezone Lots one through eighteen of Block D, and Lot 1606 of
Block lOF in the Lynncrest Addition.
At the regular meeting of the North Richland Hills City Council
on November 4, 1963, the City Council voted to approve tþe petition
that 2.2 acres of the William Barnes Survey, Abstract 146, Tract lD.
