Approval of Review Minutes from the Motion to approve Minutes April 8, 2003 meeting (no meeting May 20th). Motion: Rhonda Dolan Second: John Paraskevas Motion Passed Business Keep NRH Beautiful Motion to eliminate the Landscape members toured NRH on Entertainment category Winners for May 6th to select the from the Business 2003 Business Landscape Landscape Awards contest Winners for 2003. A list of and add Non-Profit the winners and the category category. for which they won is attached. Motion: John Paraskevas Second: Scott Wood KNRHB members chose to eliminate the Entertainment Motion Passed category and add the category Non-Profit which will include organizations, such as churches, schools, etc. KTB Debbie York reported that Conference this year's Keep Texas Delegates Beautiful Convention is being held in Dallas, July 8th through the 11 tho Ms. York said she, Kathy Luppy, and Ruth Ann Smith are going to Item Discussion Action Taken Follow Up attend two days of the convention and invited other members to attend as well. Seminars KNRHB members decided Scott Wood will on two seminar ideas and find a speaker dates. October 18th is the for the October date chosen for the Outdoor 18th seminar on Lighting seminar and a Pond Outdoor Building seminar will be held Lighting. some time in February or March. Eco Partner KNRHB members reviewed Brochure the ECO Partner brochure and will finalize the program criteria as well as other minor changes, such as correcting the telephone number, at the July meeting. Debbie York reported that a representative from the company UICI contacted her and said they are interested in participating in the program. Replace Yard KNRHB members decided to Ruth Ann of the Month replace the YOM and LOM Smith will bring and Business signs. The new logo and sample signs to Landscape of area will be put on the signs July 15th the Month as well as other information, meeting. Signs such as a telephone number to call in order to nominate a winner. The frames from the old signs will be used which will reduce the cost. Ruth Ann Smith will bring sample signs to the July 15th meeting. Yard of the KNRHB members selected Month which month they would do Presentation the YOM presentation at the Assignments City Council meeting for the months of June through October.
