COUNCIL

ITEM 6: DISCUSS RUFE SNOW/INDUSTRIAL BLVD. ISLAND AND THE PLANTERS AT THE
CQ \1~1UNITY CENTER
Donati ons made for' spr'Ì nk 1 er'. Commi ssi on needs to encour'age busi nesses in the
.::wea to maintain the island. SUO;:¡gested appr'oachin9 Tech-Nol about maintainin'd
the pr'oper'ty. The plantETs at the librar'y need to be included in the M.3ster'
Plan for green space at the Recreation Center. Local nurseries need to be
cont.3cted for' thei r' unu:3ed plants to be planted in them in the meanti me.

Mr's. Robi nson r'eported on meeti ng with the Senior' Citi zens Group. The gr'oup is
ver'y inter'e:5ted in helping our' Comm'ission as needed for' small pr'ojects.
