ITEM 5r DISCUSSION OF ITEMS NOT ON AGENDA '
Mr. McGilvary speaking in reterence to the new cc~unity
center, it appears that there are council members who support
the theatre. T~e NE Fine Arts League would like to have the
City gponsor them anct there#ore there would be "tree" space
availabie to them. Mr. McGilvary stateci that the Library could
take sponsor~hip of the NE rine Arts League anrl they co~ld give
them tree ~pace. Mt. McGilvary also adaed that the Department
ha~ been given four rooms for office space. The tibrary person
thought that t~iey coutd be given those tour room~ for the NE
Fine Arts League. Mr. Petika asked wha was arranging this.
Mr. McGilvary ceplted that Mr. Line had toid him zhat this was
what the 3ibraty wanted to do. Mr. Pe.t~ka stated that in a ~m.~~'K~
meeting with Mr. Lirrt and the archizects that Mr. Line had
dictated to the arch;~ects that the chapet area would be
considereC as a perfarming arts area, as was also di~cussed in
a meeting with the sa~riie arch~tects in hi~ otfice. i~r.McGilvary ~t~~~ b
