A4r. Shart expiained the purpose of this meeting
was to verify changes to be made in the prelimina.ry
plan.
I~Ir. Short turned the meeting over to Mr. Hays.
Mr. Hays advised Dgr. Robinson the layout of the
football and baseball fields was not what they wanted.
If possible they would like for the larger football
field to be moved where the smaller one is. The base-
ball fields overlap the football fields, and the
lighting could not be utilized.
I+Zr. Darnell advised the Commission t•hat Richland Youth
Assocaation had asked for three football fields, and
~t was necessary that they ha.ve three if at all possible.
Mr. Riddle advised r?r. Darnell that the Commission
could not give Richland Youth Association everything
they wanted.
D~r. Polster inquired as to what the draw back was
from the original plan.
DZr. Darnell said he thought we could get more in the
plan.
h7r. Polster advised he thought the plan should be
drawn in a way so that expansion could be made later.

h:r. I~arnell showed a drawin~ of a comFlex Fichland
Youth Asfiociation had drawn ug and advi~ed the
Commi~sion he would like to submit it for consider-
ation. Mr. I~rnell a.dvised the Commission that
F;ichland Youth Association had only three years left
to play on the field they have now. It is vital
that P.ichland Youth Association have the fields in
the park, or Pichland Youth Association k~ill have to
find one somewhere else.
Mr. I}arnell was under the impression that P.ichland
Youth Associatian would have to maintain the ball
fields. I~1r. Riddle advised ~1r. Darnell everything
in the park would be taken care of by the City.
Mr. Roberson advised Rir. Riddle that accurate records
must be kept on equipment and man hours. This
applies to force accounts of the grant.
After discussian between the Commission Alembers, a
plan previously drawn up was given to tdr. Roberson
to be used for the drawing of a new plat.
Mr. Roberson will return to Austin and as soon as
the changes are made Mr. Roberson will return it
to Mr. Riddle.
Mr. Short made a motion , seconded by Mr. Hays
to adjourn. b?otion carried.
