plastic bags to hold bool~ during inclement weather, had several options.
Pictures of various bags, a sample and prices were discussed. The
possibil~~ry of obtain~~ig bags from commercial establishments was discussed,
but the members felt it would be better to advertise only the library
with any advertising on the bags. Mr. Baker nwved that items two and
three on the list, a~rrel for audiovisual equipment or studying and
"stick-up" characters to decorate the wall in the chil~~en's section,
be approved for buying. Motion seconded and approved.
Dr. Ellis recommended that Mrs. Prewitt purchase plastic bag~ as shown
in one of the equipment catalogs, from the regular supply account as
a good public relations item for the library. Mrs. Daniels suggested
that labels with the name of the library be made to stick on the bags
to save the cost of imprinting them.
~f Mrs. Brinkley brought to the attention of the board a suggestion from
the November board meeting, made by Mrs. Daniel, that a barrel be
decorated as a clown as a receptal~le for donated books.

statem~nt for future consideration of changes. Members were informed that
recomnended changes would be forthcoming for later consideration.
