The minates of the Jaauarq 27, 1982 meeting were approned as aubmitted.
Polly Brinkley seported on the meeting of the NTLS Advisory Council held
February 11. It was reported that 15 original video tapes to promote
library c~sage are being prodaced wi.th NTLS Fuads and will be available
to area libraries.
The Library Director gave the following report:

Citicable 36 Fourteen citiaen awareness messages are being
v transmitted on tE~e ciunn~l. The monitor has arrived aad makea
transmitting measages aow possible.
A Materials Selection Yolicy was reviewed bq the Commission m~bers.
It ~as approved as eubmitted,
Tl~e Ccmoaiseion also discnssed a Video Procednres draft ~hich had
beea compiled by Tiffaay and the Freedom to VieN 3tatement. There
~ere t~o changes oa the draft of Video Procedares. The age limit
for a child vieqiag a videe cassette nloae ia the library will be
changed fram 8 to 12 qears old. Patrona a~ay not briag their owu
video casaettea into the library to be viewed. Polly Briakleq made
the motion to adopt the corrected Video Proced~res; seconded bq Jim
Tacker. Motion carried.
