~ were approved as submitted.
The land dispute between the owners and North Richland Hills will go

library can be built there if North Richland Hills is able to purchase
it.
The library staff will host a Christmas luncheon for its volunteers on
Thursday, December 13 at 12 noon. The luncheon will be a way to show
appreciation for the dedicated library work they do.
The new library card for the automated circulation system was shown to •
the Board.
The new library Compensatory Time Policy was reviewed by the members.
Mickey Oxford moved to adopt the policy; seconded by Mattie Belle Lewis.

A discussion followed on the draft for new Meeting Room Guidelines and
the Reservation Procedures For Use of Library Meeting Room. It was

Resolution needs to be revised.

amended; seconded by Mattie Belle Lewis.

A copy of the Guidelines is attached. It was also suggested that a
Responsible Person Form be drawn up for the signature of the person
responsible for any damages.
, Mickey Oxford moved that the Library Director prepare a P.esolution for
the City Council which would show the Board's grave concern about the
use of Meeting Room 100 by the public due to the expensive Citicable 36
equipment stored there; seconded by Kay Schmidt.
Motion carried.
Recently, the NTLS Lay Representative, Lynn 0'Day,voted with the other
representatives to change North Texas Library System to a non-profit
organization. The proposal will be voted on soon by various City Councils
in the area. The results will be presented to the Texas State Library by
