to a joint Boards and Commissions/Council meeting scheduled for Monday,

Kay and Arlita recently met with a committee consisting of council,
administration, and commission representatives to discuss the avail- '
ability andjor fees for the meeting room in the new facility. The
issue was not resolved at this session. The consensus o£ the Board
is that the auditorium policy section submitted as part of the proposed
Library Policies to the City Council for approval should stand as
written.
On nominations duly made and seconded, Lynn 0'Day was elected as
the 1986-88 North Richland Hills Public Library`s NTLS Lay Represent-
ative. Mattie Belle Lewis was elected as the NTLS Alternate.
The Board discussed the ideas of a"Wish Book" of items for the new
library, a possible gift shop run by Board/Friends/Volunteers, and using
Board members as PR representatives to the community. Kay asked the
group to consider these suggestions, and the ideas may be explored further
