AGENDA Item 3. The importance of inter-departmental communications is
recognized and it seems necessary to have some type of
newsletter for all employees. Again, there was no motion
made. Further consideration of a newsletter will be
made.
AGENDA Item 4. It is reported to the Commission that several employees
have dropped their dependant coverage for outside coverage.
Also, that some especially desire to have maternity coverage
as a part of our group plan. It would be necessary to
renegotiate with Blue Cross-Blue Shield prior to our renewal
date of July 1 or open for bids from other companies.
~ Jim Cato recommended that we write a letter to the City
Council regarding the need. Denver Mills will write the
letter and present it at the next Commission meeting.
