~ MINUTES
JUNE 3, 1975
The Civil Service Commission of the City of North Richland Hills, Texas
was called to order by the Chairman, Mr. John H. Green, on June 3, 1975
at 7:30 p.m.

Janell Green, secretary
After consideration of the minutes of May 27, they were approved as read.
The minutes of the Appeal Hearing of May 28 were approved as read.
OLD BUSINESS
1. The secretary gave copies of the preliminary budget to those present
~irpcan ~ It was decided that Testing would be included in the budget.
~ Inspection booklets will be ordered from IPMA. Haltom City will be
contacted as to how they obtained the3r tests. Personnel folders will
not be budgeted for this year. It is the Commissions desire to have
printed a booklet for employees to have a copy of the fringe benefits,
etc., Quotations will be requested and if within reason budgeted under
supplies.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Job specifications were discussed and the positions that are civil
service were noted.
2. The secretary is to maintain a copy of the City Ordinances and the
Polic;e Department rules in the files for the Commission's use.
3. Mr. Moore motioned Section I of the Personnel Management Plan be
approved with the exception of the Titles on page 29, Chart II, that
do not comply with Equal Opportunity Standards and submitted to the
Council so approved. Mr. Green seconded the motion.
4. Section II of the Management Plan was approved as written and submitted
•to the Council for approval. Mr. Moore made the motion and Mr. Green
seconded it.
Meeting ad~ourned at 10:05 p.m.

1. Testing - Stan Gertz requested to discuss this with the Commission
about the Fire Department's testing
2. Budget
3. Personnel Management Plan Sections reviewed
