Leo Nolden, Employee Representative Riley Long, Employee Representative Pauline Spain, Acting Secretary ABSENT Jim Cato, Council Jim Wood, Council George Conant, Council After consideration of the minutes of April 15, 1975, they were approved after correctton to lnclude the followfng "Mr. Green witf~drew his resignation of February 18, 1975". Mr. Riddle, City Manager, introduced the new Commission member, Mr. William C. Moore. Mr. Moore 1s employed as assistant manager of Monnig's East and previ- ously served 25 years in the An~y of the U. S. ~ Mr. Green suggested the agenda for the evening be dispensed that the Commission might review the appeal af T.R. Shockley. Ail Members voted far. The Commission members dtscussed the grievance procedure in regards to Mr. Shbckley's appeal. Mr. Shockley F~as con~p.lied with grievance procedure. 7he Board will subpoena original file and personnel file of Mr. Shockley. The appeal hearing is set for Wednesday, 30 April 75 at 7:30 P.M. A letter is to be sent ta Mr. Shockley by certified mail, copies to Chief Sc~uggs, City Mgr., Tim Truman, Commission members and the council. Pro ress Re ort of Job S ecifications for Cit Em lo ees. Mr. Doy e presented a notice with appea procedure for 3ob specifications. Mr. Doyle will clear these 3ob specffications with the department heads before send- ing to employees. If employee disagrees with the 3ob specifications Mr. Doyle will review. These will be avaflable for the Civil Service Board to review at the Aprtl 29 meeting. The April 29 meeting will be open to the public; however after business of the evening the meeting wi11 be closed for review of employee 3ob specifications. Sick Leave ac~ ong asked that the method of fi~guring sick leave for the 56 hour work week employee be put into the minutes. After much discussion, based on ratio of 1.4 to 1.0 of the 55 hour week vs. 40 hour wee{~,'Mr. Moore moved, seconded by Mr. Churchman to grant 1,0 hour sick leave for each 1.4 Mour off sick; this being 11.14 sick leave hours for each 24 haur shift. Motivn carried 3-0.
