Approval of Review Minutes from the Motion was made:

Conference Texas Beautiful conference members with

programs; maybe retire
some of them and possibly

Debbie York then gave a
detailed report on some of
the sessions that she
attended (copy attached)
and she too, emphasized
that the current programs
need to be reevaluated and

Ruth Ann Smith volunteered
to speak with Anna Reim, of
North Hills Hospital, to see if
the hospital would like to be
more involved in the Trees
for Tots program. Ms. Smith ~
will report what she finds out
at the next meetin . .
Staff Reports Debbie York reported that
Home Depot has donated
$10,000.00 for the purchase
of wildflower seeds to
TXDOT. How and when
TXDOT will distribute them
will be announced at a later
date.
Debbie York also relayed
that surveyors have been at
the site chosen for the
Liberty Garden, however,
money will not be available
until the new budget year.

Mayor Trevino appointed
Holiy Bullington as the
Beautification Commission's
alternate and that there is
still one slot open, which will
be filled when Councilman
Scott Turnage makes his
appointment.
