Operating Budget Other Budget Director Signature Agenda Number: CCD 2001-04 Cf'iief Oper~tirl~ Officer/City M~na~r Signature RESOLUTION NO. 2001-C NORTH RICHLAND HILLS CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT WHEREAS, a referendum was duly held on May 5, 2001 wherelN the eligible voters within the North Richland Hills Crime Control and Prevention District voted on the following proposition: "Whether the North Richland Hills Crime Control and Prevention District should be continued for ten years and the Crime Control and Prevention District sales tax of one-half cent should be continued for ten years"; and WHEREAS, a canvass of the votes cast in such election showed the following results: "FOR" "AGAINST" NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE NORTH RICHLAND HILLS CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT that: 1. The above canvass be, and is hereby approved. 2. It is ORDERED that the proposition did carry and the North Richland Hills Crime Control and Prevention District is hereby continued for ten years and the sales and use tax of one-half cent shall be continued for ten years. PASSED AND APPROVED this 8th day of May, 2001.
