A brief discussion was held on financial status of the CIP Program.
Gene Riddle briefed the committee on progress on Parchman, Scruggs,
Cross, Harwood, Palomar and other miscellaneous street and drainage
proj ects.
Dennis Horvath briefed the committee on the status on right-of-way
acquisition on Glenview, Chapman and Flory.
Richard Albin briefed the committee on the status of the plans and
progress on Lynn Terrace, Morgan Meadows and Walker's Branch
projects.
Richard Albin was directed to execute a change order to the LCH contract
on Morgan Meadows for bank protection by Mr. Finke and Mr. Bank's homes
along Walker's Branch.
Dennis Horvath was asked to review the letter of credit received from
the chamber for the Glenview Drive project.
A discussion followed on the erosion problem along Fossil Creek. Two
proposals were submitted by the engineers for this project. Due to the
expense involved Richard Royston was directed to work with the school
district and contact the Corp of Engineers for possible assistance.
After a brief discussion on water and sewer problems it was decided that
the next CIP Meeting be dedicated to the comprehensive review of the
water and sewer systems and any needed improvements.
Richard Albin stressed the importance of finalizing the Master Plan so
that the demographics information can be used to project future sewer
needs.

CIP Committee will recommend to the City Council that the following
projects be submitted to CONET for their endorsement:
Loop 820, Hwy. 26, Davis Blvd. Interchange
Bursey Road
Watauga Road
Davis Blvd.
Precinct Line Road
Rapp Road
Booth Calloway
A Public Hearing date was set for April 2nd, 1985 for the Community
Development Block Grant. It was agreed that since the Council will
be available on April 2nd the Council will remain for a work session
on the Drainage Master Plan.
