No objections. Motion carried. Req uired REVISED BUDGET ON Staff outlined to the Committee the proposed channel Greg Dickens CALLOW A Y BRANCH improvements and effect they would have on CHANNEL IMPROVE- Calloway Branch from Holiday Lane to the Railroad, MENTS, PHASE III including a cost estimate. Staff informed the Committee that bond funds have not yet been sold. The recommendation by the CIP Committee was to take this to City Council for formal reallocation of future bond sales. OLIVER DRIVE RECONSTRUCTION PLUG AND ABANDON TWO PUBLIC WATER WELLS IN THE NORTH HILLS AREA REALLOCA TION OF FUND FOR BEWLEY IONYX DRIVE PROJECT OTHER ITEMS Staff has received complaints on the first 300 feet of Oliver Drive west of Redondo Street about the high crown and condition of the curb and gutter. Mr. Claude Shackleford and Mr. Bruce Correll were present at the meeting and spoke. Greg Dickensl Jimmy Cates It was the recommendation of the CIP Committee that staff meet with Mr. Shackleford and review the existing thickness of the pavement for possible milling of the crown. If the crown cannot be milled, the street should be reconstructed if funding can be found. Staff was instructed to review the availability of funds for this project and if funds are found, take. to Council approval. Since the completion of the new Beach Street Greg Dickens Connection was made to the City of Fort Worth's water system at Stanley-Keller Road in Haltom City, the need for the North Hills Booster Pump Station and its water wells was eliminated. Staff was quoted a cost of $8,000 to properly plug the two wells. The CIP Committee recommended taking this item to City Council for action. Motion was made by Councilman Ojesky and seconded by Mayor Brown. Motion carried. The reconstruction of this roadway is not as urgent a Greg Dickens project as Rufe Snow Drive from IH 820 to Watauga Road and the North Hills Mall Road from Grapevine Highway to Booth Calloway Drive. These two projects were not anticipated or included in the 1985 Bond Election and funding has not been acquired. The CIP Committee recommended the reallocation of funds as presented by staff. It was also noted that staff should contact Commissioner Hampton to inquire if the County could provide the labor and the City provide the materials and a new surface be installed for the Bewley/Onyx project. Road Humps: The CIP Committee was given an update on the installation of road humps on Meandering Drive. Jimmy Cates, Public Works Superintendent, stated that installation should be complete by the first of October. N/A
