crown and condition of the curb and gutter. Mr.

present at the meeting and spoke.
Greg Dickensl
Jimmy Cates
It was the recommendation of the CIP Committee
that staff meet with Mr. Shackleford and review the
existing thickness of the pavement for possible
milling of the crown. If the crown cannot be milled,
the street should be reconstructed if funding can be
found. Staff was instructed to review the availability
of funds for this project and if funds are found, take.
to Council approval.
Since the completion of the new Beach Street Greg Dickens
Connection was made to the City of Fort Worth's
water system at Stanley-Keller Road in Haltom City,
the need for the North Hills Booster Pump Station
and its water wells was eliminated. Staff was quoted
a cost of $8,000 to properly plug the two wells.
The CIP Committee recommended taking this item to
City Council for action. Motion was made by
Councilman Ojesky and seconded by Mayor Brown.
Motion carried.
The reconstruction of this roadway is not as urgent a Greg Dickens
project as Rufe Snow Drive from IH 820 to Watauga
Road and the North Hills Mall Road from Grapevine
Highway to Booth Calloway Drive. These two
projects were not anticipated or included in the 1985
Bond Election and funding has not been acquired.
The CIP Committee recommended the reallocation of
funds as presented by staff. It was also noted that
staff should contact Commissioner Hampton to
inquire if the County could provide the labor and the
City provide the materials and a new surface be
installed for the Bewley/Onyx project.
Road Humps: The CIP Committee was given an
update on the installation of road humps on
Meandering Drive. Jimmy Cates, Public Works
Superintendent, stated that installation should be
complete by the first of October.
