Director of Utilities Right-of-Way Agent Consulting City Engineer DISCUSSION ACTION The CIP Committee recommended Council approve (1) the Interlocal Agreement with Richland Hills as presented and (2) a budget of $113,200 for the GLENVIEW DRIVE 8" RELIEF SEWER. Greg Dickens The CIP Committee approved the 3- Year Utility Fund CIP Program and instructed staff to seek City Council approval. Greg Dickens/Lee Maness The Committee also recommended that the Director of Finance and the Director of Public Works modify the existing water rate per 100 cubic feet to include the pass-through rate. Then the pass- through charges would not be shown separately on the water bill. The pass-through charges will still be accounted for separately in the Utility Billing records. The Committee reviewed the outstanding CIP Projects. No Action other Items Several people were present from the Snow Heights area to discuss sewer problems. Those present were: 1. Mrs. Clyde Zeller 4920 Reynolds Rd. 281-3321 2. Mrs. Bill Betts 4916 Reynolds Rd. 498-0880 3. Mr. & Mrs. N.A. Anthony 7024 Corona 498-3888 The citizens present were having problems with sewer backing up in their homes. They informed the Committee that they had on numerous occasions called the City and plumbers out to determine the problem, and to date had not been able to resolve the problem. After discussion with the citizens, the Committee recommended that: 1. The City Sewer Department will TV the sewer lines serving these customers within the next two weeks. 2. If no problems are found within the City's lines, staff will then request consent from the homeowners to TV their private service lines. 3. Staff will report back their findings to the CIP Committee at the next meeting. At that time, they will also submit a cost estimate for solving the problem and an estimated date to begin repair. Mayor Brown also ask staff to TV all the sewer collection lines in the Snow Heights area to check for similar problems. Greg Dickens/ Kevin Miller
