Mr. Gary Childers 6917 Crane 2. Mr. Stanley Tatarevich 6820 Crane 3. Mr. & Mrs. Bill Nelms 6818 Crane 4. Rogers Woolsey 6721 Crane Greg Dickens/ Mark Bradley After discussion, the CIP Committee agreed that both items should be placed on hold pending review and approval of the Water and Sewer Extension Assessment Policy by City Council. The CIP Committee also requested that staff take a survey of all persons living on Crane Road and Valley Park Estates to determine the actual amount of willing participation the City can expect. The survey should be brought to the Assessment Policy Committee work session in December or January. The ClP Committee recommended staff authorize K-E-F begin a detailed survey, design plans and work up an engineer's cost estimate for the North Crane Road project. Water and Sewer Extension Assessment Policy Bedford-Euless Road from Grapevine Highway to Airport Freeway Miscellaneous 1991 Water Main Replacements Review of Remaining Revenue Bond Projects The ClP Committee instructed staff to review this policy with the City Attorney. The CIP Committee decided to include a requirement that 50% or more of the benefitted property owners (based on linear foot of frontage) be in favor of the project before it will be considered. A petition would have to be submitted with the "request for service extension" confirming the 50% or more requirement. staff will coordinate with the street Assessment Policy Committee. The two assessment policies will be presented to City Council for review and approval at the same meeting. CIP Committee agreed that this item should be discussed at the work session held after this meeting. CIP Committee instructed staff to proceed forward with developing a more detailed estimate of cost. Take this project with its proposed budget to City Council for consideration. The CIP Committee has instructed staff to bring to Council a proposed 3-year Capital Improvements Program for the water and sewer system. The Committee was in favor of removing budgets for Items No. 1 & 2. Before they would recommend any budgets for these projects be removed, they want the Council to review the proposed 3-year CIP plan.
