DISCUSSION
After discussion, the CIP Committee
agreed that the repairing and
repainting of the tank was needed.
It was recommended that staff should
present this to Council for
consideration and approval.
The CIP Committee recommended this
item be placed on hold until further
discussions are complete concerning
possible North Richland Hills and
Richland Hills merger.
Several options were presented to
the CIP Committe by Richard Albin
with K-E-F. It was recommended that
staff should check with the other
cities involved, and report back.

present at the meeting:

The CIP Committee recommended staff
authorize K-E-F begin a detailed
survey, design plan and engineer's
cost estimate for this project.
Staff should report back to the CIP
Committee in about two months.
It was also recommended that the
City Manager's office and Public
Works/Utility staff review and
revise Ordinance No. 381. The
revised Ordinance should allow
individual property owners a more
affordable means to cooperate with
City government to obtain water and
sewer line extensions. The revised
policy should require the property
owners to pay their determined share
by assessment. This should then be
presented to the City Council for
consideration.
