DISCUSSION
The CIP Committee recommended
to go back to the Council with
the abandonment of Lynda Lane
right-of-way (ROW). This will
allow the adjacent property
owners to purchase their
portion of the ROW.
The CIP Committee recommended
that staff contact the
property owners on Glenview
Drive which would be required
to dedicate a sewer easement.
Staff should bring the project
back to the CIP Committee with
a summary of the property
owners responses.
The CIP Committee recommended
the staff draft a resolution
for Council to consider. The
resolution should request the
Texas Department of Highways &
Public Transportation
incorporate the south frontage
road, ramp reversals, and
"Texas Turnaround" in their
reconstruction of Loop 820.

WEST
Several property owners
effected by the local drainage
runoff were present.
1. Larry & Tammy Davis
8309 Woods Lane
2. Nadine Giles
8305 Woods Lane
3. Rock & Raeanne English
8313 Woods Lane
These owners stated their
concerns about the quantity of
runoff and the erosion.
The Committee recognized that
the best solution is the
installation of an underground
storm drain system. The
Committee explained to the
property owners that no monies
were currently available to
fund this project.
The CIP Committee recommended
staff review the State's
proposed Davis Boulevard (FM
1938) Project and identify any
monies to be paid by the City
for a portion of these
drainage improvements. Bring
results of this review back to
the Committee.
Two of the local property
owners on this street were
present.
1. Robert E. Schafer
7321 Hialeah Cir West
2. John & Judy Brolick
7317 Hialeah Cir West
The property owners stated
their concerns about the
quantity of runoff across
their backyards and near-

The CIP Committee recommended
the bar ditches on Eden Road
be regraded. The deeper and
more defined bar ditches will
intercept runoff from the west
of Eden Road and direct it
into the existing inlets.
