ORDINANCE NO. 1426
AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE
WITH SECTION XXVIII, AMENDMENTS, OF ZONING
ORDINANCE #1080 OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND
HILLS, TEXAS, PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED
BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION AND THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND
HILLS, JANUARY 9, 1984
AFTER APPROPRIATE NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATION
IS SUBMITTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS BY
THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION:
RESOLVED that on Case No. PZ-86-59 the following described property shall
be rezoned from AG to R-2.
ALL that certain tract or parcel of land situated in the J. C. Bradford
Survey, Abstract 140, Tarrant County, Texas and being further described by
metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point at the southwest corner of Lot 1, Block 1 of Cherokee
Estates, an addition to the City of North Richland Hills, Tarrant County,
Texas as recordedin Volume 388-68, Page 19, Deed Records, Tarrant County,
Texas;
THENCE South 88 degrees 25 minutes West along the south boundary line of
said J. C. Bradford Survey, 945.0 feet to a point;
THENCE North 01 degrees 17 minutes East, 2625.7 feet to a point on the
approximately centerline of County Road #3001 (Shady Grove Road);
THENCE North 88 degrees 25 minutes East along said centerline of County
Road #3001, 945.0 feet to a point on the east boundary line of that same
tract described to John H. Gillis (1/3 interest) as recorded in Volume 86,
Page 523, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE South 01 degrees 17 minutes West along said East boundary line of
that same tract described to John H. Gillis (1/3 interest) 2625.7 feet to
the place of beginning and containing 56.9 acres, more or less.

This property is located on the south side of Shady Grove Road,
approxilately 791 feet east of Keller Smithfield Road.
