CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m.

APPOINT CHAIRMAN AND VICE CHAIRMAN
Garry Cope: The first order of business is to vote on a new chairman.

Tom Moreau: I make a motion to nominate Garry Cope for Chairman.
Bob McCary: I second the motion.
Garry Cope: I have a motion and a second. All those in favor say aye
record show 3 and 4 with 1 abstaining.
Garry Cope: Now do I hear a motion for Vice Chairman?
Philip Orr: I make a motion to nominate Brian Crowson for Vice Chair.
Tom Moreau: I'll second that.
Garry Cope: Let the record show a unanimous aye.

SSB2009-16
PUBLIC HEARING FOR BLOCK 1 LOT 11 THOMPSON PARK
ADDITION KNOWN AS 9228 MARTIN DR.
Garry Cope: Our first hearing to revise today is SSB2009-16 Block 1 Lot 11,
Thompson Park Addition, known as 9228 Martin Dr. Do I hear a motion to revise
the order?
Tom Moreau: I make a motion that the Board determined that the structures on
this property are substandard. The Board hereby orders that:
1. The property owner obtain a demolition permit and demolish the structures to
grade within 30 days.
2. If the property owner fails to comply with this order, the lien holder(s) shall
comply with this order within 30 days.
3. It is further ordered that if such corrective action above is not completed within
the time allowed, the City of North Richland Hills is hereby authorized to
demolish and clear the property and to assess the cost of such action against the
property as provided by the City's ordinance.
Bob McCary: I'll second that.
Garry Cope: All those in favor? Let the record show it was a unanimous aye.

PUBLIC HEARING FOR BLOCK 33 LOT 6 NOR'EAST
ADDITION KNOWN 5405 DAVIS BLVD.
Garry Cope: Now I want to bring up the next hearing and that is SSB2009-17
Block 33 Lot 6, Nor'East Addition, known as 5405 Davis Blvd. Do I have a motion
to revise the board order?
Bob McCary: I make a motion to find the property substandard. The Board
hereby orders that:
1. The property owner obtain a demolition permit and demolish the structures to
grade within 30 days.
2. If the property owner fails to comply with this order, the lien holder(s) shall
comply with this order within 30 days.
3. It is further ordered that if such corrective action above is not completed within
the time allowed, the City of North Richland Hills is hereby authorized to
demolish and clear the property and to assess the cost of such action against the
property as provided by the City's ordinance.

Garry Cope: Now I want to bring up the next hearing and that is SSB2009-19
Block 2 Lot 23, Skyline Homes Addition, known as 6669 Marie St. Do I hear a
motion to revise the board order?
Tom Moreau: I make a motion that the Board determined that the structure on
this property is substandard.
The Board hereby orders that:
1. The property owner obtain a demolition permit and demolish the structure to
grade within 30 days.
2. If the property owner fails to comply with this order, the lien holder(s) shall
comply with this order within 30 days.
3. It is further ordered that if such corrective action above is not completed within
