Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance 2777 2 ORDINANCE NO. 2777 PZ 2004-05 4 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, BY GRANTING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT TO ALLOW AUTO ALARM AND STEREO ELECTRONICS INSTALLATION AND/OR REPAIR; PROVIDING A PENAL TY; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION. 6 8 10 WHEREAS, notice of a hearing before the Planning and Zoning Commission was sent to real property owners within 200 feet of the property herein described at least 10 days before such hearing; and, 12 14 WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing before the City Council was published in a newspaper of general circulation in North Richland Hills at least 15 days before such hearing; and, 16 18 WHEREAS, public hearings to change the zoning on the property herein described were held before both the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council, and the Planning and Zoning Commission has heretofore made a recommendation concerning the zone change; and, 20 22 24 WHEREAS, the City Council is ofthe opinion that the zone change herein effectuated furthers the purpose of zoning as set forth in the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance and is in the best interest of the citizens of the City of North Richland Hills; NOW, THEREFORE, 26 28 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS: 30 Section 1: THAT the Comprehensive Plan, the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, and the Official Zoning Map of North Richland Hills are hereby amended by changing the zoning on Lot 17Rl, Block 20, Snow Heights Addition of the City of North Richland Hills, Texas, and granting a specific use permit for auto alarm and stereo electronics installation and/or repair facility. 32 34 36 Section 2: Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision ofthis ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon final conviction thereof fined in an amount not to exceed Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00).
