CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES Garry Cope: The first order of business is the consideration of the minutes from our last meeting. Are there any questions or comments about the minutes? If not, do I hear a motion? Tom Moreau: I make a motion that we accept the minutes. Bob McCary: 1 second the motion. Garry Cope: I have a motion and a second to accept the minutes of our last meeting. All those in favor? Let the record show that it was a unanimous aye. 4. SSB2009 -23 PUBLIC HEARING FOR BLOCK 31 LOT 1A COLLEGE HILLS ADDITION ADDITION KNOWN AS 6201 DAVIS BLVD. Garry Cope: Our hearing today is SSB2009 -23 Block 31 Lot 1A, College Hills Addition, known as 6201 Davis Blvd. Tim Horvath presented a power point presentation for SSB2009 -23. Garry Cope: Is there anyone who wishes to speak on behalf of this property? Seeing none. Are there any in the audience who wishes to speak against this property? Seeing none I now close this public hearing and open it to the board. Do I hear a motion? Deryl Brown: I make a motion that the Board determines that the structures on this property are substandard and hereby order that: (1) Guls & Al Inc., owners of the property located at 6201 Davis Blvd, in North Richland Hills, Texas, Block 31 Lot 1A College Hills Addition, North Richland Hills, Tarrant County Texas shall within thirty (30) days repair the structure to minimum standards or obtain a demolition permit from the Building Official and demolish the structure to grade, including the fueling equipment, fueling canopy and pole sign. The underground storage tanks must also be abandoned in place per Section 3404.2.13.1.4 of the 2006 International Fire Code or excavated and removed from the property per all state and local ordinance requirements. (2) The lien holder of said property shall within thirty (30) days, should the property owner(s) fail to do so, repair the structure to minimum standards or obtain a building permit and demolish the structure to grade including the fueling equipment, fueling canopy and pole sign. The underground storage tanks must also be abandoned in place per Section 3404.2.13.1.4 of the 2006 International Fire Code or excavated and removed from the property per all state and local ordinance requirements. (3) If the repairs are not made or if a permit is not obtained and work is not completed in the time referenced in the preceding paragraph, the City of North Richland Hills shall demolish the structure and charge all expenses incurred by the city to the owner and place a lien upon the property for the amount owed. The costs, together with interest accruing at 10% per annum will be assessed as a charge against the land and will be a personal obligation of the owner. Bob McCary: I'll second the motion.
