Adjournment POSTED Date - - Time B City Secretary Office Official Record Copy MRH Economic Development CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS MEMORANDUM TO: City Council Planning & Zoning Commission Economic Development Advisory Committee FROM: John Pitstick, Development Director DATE: Thursday, October 17, 2002 RE: Economic Development Strategic Plan We hope to wrap up the major strategies and objectives for North Richland Hill's Economic Development Strategy at the upcoming meeting this Tuesday, October 22, 2002. Following this meeting TIP Development Strategies will present a final report to City Council on November 25, 2002. Please find the enclosed documents that are meant to help bring a consensus to this process. Please make any notes or changes to the strategies or objectives that you think need to be made so we can come to a consensus on the Plan and be able to answer the following questions at the meeting. Agreement on Major Strategies (Attachment A.) 1) Do you agree with the three major economic development strategies? 2) Do we need to change the wording or description of any of the three major strategies? Discussion and Agreement on Objectives (Attachment B.� 3) Do we need to remove, change or add to any of the 17 objectives? 4) Do you agree with the placement of each objective under the major strategies? City Council Consensus of Primary Objectives (Attachment C) 5) How will the City Council rate the Top, High and Moderate primary objectives for Economic Development? Tom Stellman and Jon Roberts from TIP Development Strategies will be present at the meeting and will lead the discussion in an effort to come to a consensus on the Plan. P.O.
