HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 1202 ORDINANCE NO. 1202 AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION XXVIII, AMENDMENTS, OF ZONING ORDINANCE #1080 OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, JANUARY 9, 1984 AFTER APPROPRIATE NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATION IS SUBMITTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION: RESOLVED that on Case No. PZ-85-27 the following described property shall be rezoned from PD to R-2. ALL that certain tract or parcel of land situated in the S. Richardson Survey, Abstract 1266, and the Thomas Peck Survey, Abstract 1210, Tarrant County, Texas, and being further described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at a point at the Northwest corner of Block 1 of Cherokee Estates, an addition to the City of North Richland Hills, as recorded in Volume 388-68, Page 19, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas; THENCE South 88 degrees 43 minutes East with the North boundary line of said Block 1, 1450.0 feet to a point; THENCE South 12 degrees 51 minutes 55 seconds West, 292.6 feet to a point in the Northerly R.O.W. line of Tahlequah Drive; THENCE Southerly with a curve to the right whose radius point bears South 04 degrees 35 minutes East at 70.0 feet and with said R.O.W. line, a total arc distance of 187.0 feet to a point at the end of said curve and at the beginning of a curve to the left whose radius point bears South 31 degrees 31 minutes East at 35.0 feet; THENCE Southerly continuing with said R.O.W. line and said curve, a total arc distance of 34.9 feet to a point at the end of a curve; THENCE South 01 degrees 17 minutes West, 300.0 feet to a point; THENCE South 88 degrees 43 minutes East, 250.5 feet to a point in the East boundary line of said Block 1; THENCE South 01 degrees 17 minutes West with said East boundary line, 373.1 feet to a point; THENCE South 89 degrees 55 minutes East continuing with said Easterly boundary line, 34.5 feet to a point; Page 2 THENCE South 00 degrees 08 minutes East continuing with said East boundary line, 371.9 feet to a point in the center line of Continental Pipeline Company easement; THENCE South 78 degrees 49 minutes West with said center line, 556.8 feet to a point in the center line of the proposed L.D. Lockett Road; THENCE North 55 degrees 26 minutes West with said proposed center line, 533.5 feet to a point at the beginning of a curve to the left whose radius point bears South 34 degrees 34 minutes West at 1000.0 feet; THENCE Westerly continuing with said proposed center line and with said curve, a total arc distance of 375.2 feet to a point in the West boundary line of Block 3 of said Cherokee Estates; THENCE North 00 degrees 08 minutes West with said West boundary line, 55.5 feet to a point at the Northwest corner of Lot 2 in said Block 3; THENCE North 88 degrees 43 minutes West with the South boundary line of Lot 1 in said Block 1 of Cherokee Estates, 378.9 feet to a point at the Southwest corner of said Lot; THENCE North 01 degrees 17 minutes East with the West boundary line of said Block 1, 1117.6 feet to the place of beginning and containing 48.5 acres of land, more or less.
