ORDINANCE NO.1124 AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION XXVIII, AMENDMENTS, OF ZONING ORDINANCE #1080 OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, JANUARY 9, 1984 AFTER APPROPRIATE NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATION IS SUBMITTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION: RESOLVED that on Case No. PZ-84-30 the following described property shall be rezoned from Agriculture to R-2. SITUATED in the City of North Richland Hills, Tarrant County, Texas, and being all that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the WILLIAM COX SURVEY, Abstract 321, Tarrant County, Texas a part of Fred O. Barney Tract as recorded in Volume 1916, Page 254, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at a steel rod in the Northerly R.O.W. line of Turner Road and the Southeast corner of Lot 10, Block 7, Smithfield Acres Addition as recorded in Volume 388-2, Page 132, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas; THENCE North 03 degrees 01 minutes 15 seconds East with the East line of said Smithfield Acres, a distance of 1042.27 feet to a steel rod for corner, being the Northeast corner of said Smithfield Acres, 30.0 feet North 03 degrees 01 minutes 15 seconds East from the Northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 7, Smithfield Acres; THENCE South 87 degrees 12 minutes 45 seconds East, a distance of 911.33 feet to a steel rod for corner; said point being the Northwest corner of Fred O. Barney, Jr. tract as recorded in Volume 3594, Page 100, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas; THENCE South 02 degrees 51 minutes 30 seconds West, with the West line of said Fred O. Barney, Jr. tract, a distance of 365.55 feet to a steel rod for corner in Northerly R.O.W. line of Turner Road; said point being North 02 degrees 51 minutes 30 seconds East, 37.45 feet from the Southwest corner said Fred O. Barney, Jr. tract; THENCE South 61 degrees 17 minutes 00 seconds West with said Northerly R.O.W. line, a distance of 733.71 feet to a steel rod, an angle point in said R.O.W.; THENCE South 47 degrees 24 minutes 10 seconds West, with said Northerly R.O.W. line, a distance of 412.15 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 13.907 acres of land, more or less. Page 2 This property is located on the north side of Turner Drive and approximately 200 feet west of Davis Boulevard.
